Veganism means completely banishing the consumption of animal products such as milk, meat, wool, etc. Vegan people promote the usage of items that emerged out of plants. Besides food, vegans may also choose to avoid clothes made up of animal skins like leather items and furry clothes.

A large number of celebs around the world have turned to plant-based diets for numerous reasons. It’s quite an interesting concept when we actually know who follows it so without further ado, let’s dive into the list of the vegan celebs widely known!

1) Billie Eilish

Well, who doesn’t know her, right? The youngest American Singer and Songwriter who received so many accolades for her various amazing albums and hit songs like “Ocean Eyes” And “Bad Guy”. Eilish is a born vegetarian and she is also strictly against the use of animal products like milk, wool, and mink fur. She has also advocated several times on social media for animal rights and veganism, which won her the “Best Voice for Animals” Award.

2) Virat Kohli

The right-handed Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli had recently become a Vegan before his match in England because of a cervical spine injury but now he thinks he is better than ever and he wished to have done this earlier.

3) Fredrick Carlton

Professionally known as Carl Lewis, former American Track and Field Athlete who won nine Olympic Gold Medals is also a Vegan, girls! He was challenged by his nutritionist to go all Vegan if he wanted to remain in the “winner’s circle” after turning 30 and he, ladies and gentlemen, is known as the “Olympian of the Century”.

4) Alexander Baldwin

The popular American actor, comedian, political activist, and film producer Alec Baldwin became a vegan after being diagnosed as a prediabetic. And in less than a year he lost a wholesome of 30 pounds ladies!

5) Pamela Anderson

The Baywatch star Pamela Anderson revealed that she had been on a Vegan diet for more than thirty years because of the special connection she feels with animals. However, she had a hard time avoiding milk but once she did, she swears that her digestion, hair, and skin have improved tremendously.

6) Brad Pitt

He is regarded as one of the symbols of Veganism and he has been following it for decades! He is an ardent animal rights vocal activist and promotes the concept. In 2015, Pitt wrote to the chief executive of American warehouse chain Costco regarding its use of battery eggs. According to New York Daily News, Pitt said: “As you know, these birds producing eggs for your shelves are crammed five or more into cages that are not large enough for even one hen to spread her wings.

7) Bryan Adams

The Canadian Rockstar Bryan Adams confessed to being vegan because of his love for animals. He said that his affection towards them was a result of his pet dogs. According to him, he didn’t understand this concept until his youth but the moment he came to know about the treatment of animals for skin and other items, he came closer to the path of being vegan.

8) Jennifer Lopez

The actor, singer, dancer, producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur J.Lo gave Veganism a spin aiming at weight loss but she was so obsessed with it that she became permanent. “It’s basically no dairy, no meat, everything is just plant-based and just from the ground. I love that I’m eating more greens. It makes you feel so much better” She said. She does miss butter though because butter made everything better for her!

9) Ariana Grande

The world-famous American singer and actress Ariana Grande admits that she turned vegan when she simply realized that she loves animals way too much. She told the Mirror, “I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding.” Since she declared her choice to follow veganism in 2013, she’s been a significant activist in the community.

10) Venus and Serena Williams

The American professional tennis players Serena Williams turned vegan to support her sister Venus in battling Sjogren’s syndrome and since 2017, she had stuck to the all-vegan diet and today she is known as one of the fittest people in the world who overcame strenuous childbirth and now is back in the game proving that nothing is impossible. Although she does admit that she wasn’t a fan of Veganism when she started it but now it comes to her habitually.

Veganism has been considered as one of the most important ways to improve health naturally and it also saves animals from the cruel treatment that they undergo while getting their skins peeled off and wool being shaved. This process makes Earth a better place for both human beings and animals.
