A woman’s body was discovered in an office building parking lot in Louisiana’s capital. The deadly stabbing of the woman was live-streamed on Facebook.

According to news reports, Janice David’s naked body was discovered late Monday night, chained to a vehicle’s steering wheel with jumper cables.

Someone who witnessed the stabbing live-streamed on Facebook reported it to Facebook, which then contacted authorities.

Earl Lee Johnson, 35, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Monday. Police said Johnson and David had been on a days-long “drug binge” before he reportedly choked, assaulted, and stabbed Janice.

“Apparently they were involved in some drug usage together for a couple of days and the end result — as everyone has seen on Facebook Live — is a very gruesome, very evil act,” police spokesperson L’Jean McKneely said.

Autopsy results are pending on David, 34, of Baton Rouge.
