Iran in Crisis: War and Revolution (March 2026)

The Death of the Supreme Leader

On the morning of March 1, 2026, Iranian state television confirmed that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead. He was reportedly killed during joint U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on his compound in Tehran the previous day. Several members of his family and high-ranking military commanders were also killed. Operation “Epic Fury” & “Roaring Lion”
