SHOCKING: Hong Kong Slams 78-Year-Old Jimmy Lai With 20 Years – Is This Beijing’s Final Blow to Freedom?

Jimmy Lai, the prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist, media tycoon, and founder of the now-defunct Apple Daily newspaper, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on February 9, 2026, in a landmark case under Beijing’s national security law.
