Believe In Fairytales Says Artist Puneeta Ranjan

Puneeta Ranjan is a Pune-based fine artist, wall artist, and art educator. She believes art is a process of self-discovery. She had her first solo art exhibition when she was in Grade IX. She left her career in chartered accountancy to pursue art as a full-time profession. She has shown in India in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, and abroad in London, and Manila, among other places, and her art buyers are spread globally across the world.

She loves working with children & has formed TAW, The Art Workshop where she guides kids to become free-spirited artists and also holds exhibitions of their works annually. Puneeta aims at opening a world-class institute for art where she also wants to provide free art education to underprivileged children.

She is also a director of TAW Designs Private Limited, a company formed by her along with her husband, Ar. Shruti Ranjan is a leading architect in Pune. Along with dealing in art, art consultancy, murals, wall art, art events, and art education, TAW also deals in project management consultancy, interiors, landscape, eco-friendly buildings, and self-sustainability.

She has done many projects-the Pune Circuit House has 35 of her artworks on permanent display, the Kanpur Army Cantonment has some of her artworks at their officer’s mess, and she has done mural paintings on the walls of lift lobbies of residential complexes in Pune.

3D Art Kingdom

One of her prominent works is the 3D Art Kingdom that she has recently created at Phoenix Marketcity, Pune, which is a magic dreamworld of unicorns and mermaids, Phoenix & Fairies, Old Wizards & Pixies. It took her two and a half months of hard work, loads and loads of paint, patience, and vision to create this magic “3D Art Kingdom” of around 2700 sq. ft. of area. She has created a world of enchantment through these 3D dynamic murals at Phoenix Mall, where she invites everyone to be a part of this interactive art and experience the magic.
