In a moment that will go down in fan history, Robert Downey Jr. took the stage to confirm his return to the MCU—not as Iron Man, but as the formidable Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
The first teaser shown to the audience featured Downey in a signature green hood and metal mask. Director Joe Russo described this version of Doom as a “strategic genius always three moves ahead.” Adding to the frenzy, Chris Evans is also confirmed to return as Steve Rogers.
