3 Delicious Sattu Recipes for Summer

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 tbsp sattu powder
    • 1 glass water (chilled)
    • 1 tsp jaggery (or to taste)
    • A pinch of cumin powder
    • A squeeze of lemon juice (optional)
    • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Instructions:
    1. In a glass, combine sattu powder, water, jaggery, and cumin powder. Whisk well until everything is dissolved and there are no lumps.
    2. Add lemon juice for a tangy twist (optional).
    3. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve chilled.

2. Sattu Cheela: A Savory and Satisfying Snack

This savory pancake is a great option for breakfast, lunch, or a light evening snack. It’s packed with protein and fiber, keeping you feeling full for longer.

  • Ingredients:
    • ½ cup sattu powder
    • ¼ cup besan flour (gram flour)
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 1 chopped green chili (optional)
    • Chopped coriander leaves
    • Salt to taste
    • Water or buttermilk (as needed)
    • Oil for cooking
  • Instructions:
    1. In a bowl, combine sattu powder, besan flour, chopped onion, green chili (if using), coriander leaves, and salt.
