Girls ages 10 and up hear advice from their mothers that they need to be ready for change. They have to adjust, adapt, and be flexible. This is true for every generation. Girls are told to learn about the STEM subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. At school, they’re learning how to code and write computer programs. They’re introduced to robotics in their after-school activities. All these changes are happening while they’re still developing their identity—who they will be when they grow up! Learn How To Stay Calm And Cute In The Face Of All These Changes.
Growing up is hard for many people, especially young girls. There are many changes because of puberty, and hormones can make it more difficult to deal with these changes. Teenage girls often feel overwhelmed with all the pressure from society and from their peers. The idea that every girl should be perfect at everything can be really stressful too. But there are ways to cope with this stress and not let it ruin your life!
Women are often judged based on the stereotypes that society places on them. This is a form of discrimination, and it’s just as bad as racism or sexism. Our society discriminates against women by making assumptions about their words and actions. Women are seen as dramatic and over-reacting, so they get interrupted when they speak and told to calm down when they’re upset.
As adults and parents, it’s our job to prepare our daughters for the world they’re living in. We need to teach them how to confront their feelings with confidence, how to react efficiently when faced with change, and how to stay calm during stressful situations.
It’s hard to deal with change and how it changes your life in an instant. I know because it happened to me. I went from being a girl with all the pressures of being a high school student and trying to be good at academics, sports, and socializing with friends, to having a few more pounds on my body and the reality that my hair could not handle the harshness of styling products anymore. My father once said that there are two types of people; those who see change as an opportunity and those who see it as a threat.
Many teens see their bodies change physically, and they worry about what is going to happen next. Yes, this can be scary, but understanding where these changes come from is key to coping with them. Although life doesn’t seem to be fair, it’s important for each individual to find a way to cope with the changes in their life. For teenage girls, it may be a little more difficult because of the hormonal and physical changes that happen at this age.
This adaptation is an inevitable process that has many benefits, but it can also lead to some unwanted side effects. One of the most common pitfalls for teenage girls is becoming anxious or stressed out while trying to navigate the world.
