A tribal man from Madhya Pradesh marries three women at the same time after being in a live-in relationship with them for 15 years.
The wedding was attended by a large number of people. Interestingly, before the marriage, the groom, Samarth Maurya, had six children from his three partners.
At three different times in life, the man had fallen in love with each of the three women. He eloped with them 15 years ago from their respective homes and married them recently according to tribal rites. He made knots with the three women because he couldn’t attend his community’s social gatherings. According to tribal norms, a man is not allowed to participate in social gatherings until he is married, as per their traditions.
Samarth handed out invitation cards with the names of all three brides on them. “On April 30th, I got married. According to our tradition, we are not allowed to attend social occasions until we are married. Previously, I was not permitted to participate in any function “Samarth said.
