Fans of the “Rocking Star” Yash will have to wait a bit longer to see him back on the big screen. The makers of the upcoming gangster epic Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have officially announced that the film has been postponed from its original June 4, 2026, release date. In a heartfelt statement shared on Wednesday, Yash explained that the decision comes after the film received an incredible response from global distributors at the recent CinemaCon event.

The actor-producer noted that the enthusiasm from international buyers reaffirmed the team’s belief that Toxic deserves a massive, globally aligned launch. “Some stories ask for patience,” Yash shared, emphasizing that the film is complete but the team is currently finalizing strategic partnerships to ensure it reaches its fullest potential across the world. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features a powerhouse cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi, making it one of the most talked-about Indian projects of the year.

While a new worldwide release date has not yet been announced, the move is being seen as a sign of the growing global ambition of South Indian cinema.
