3-Ingredient Banana Bread Recipe That’s Insanely Delicious

Ever find yourself with bananas that are more brown than yellow? Don’t reach for the trash can just yet! Today, we’ll show you a simple banana bread recipe to transform those overripe bananas into a delightful loaf of bread.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

First, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Then, beat in the eggs and mashed bananas until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. You can also add chopped nuts or raisins if you like.

Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the banana bread from the oven and let cool slightly. Then, take it out of the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

This recipe is a perfect way to use up overripe bananas and enjoy a warm, delicious treat. The banana bread is moist and flavorful, and it’s sure to be a hit with everyone at the table. Plus, it’s so easy to make, you’ll be whipping up loaves in no time!

Tips:

  • For an extra burst of flavor, try using brown sugar instead of white sugar.
  • If your bananas are very ripe, you may need to reduce the baking time by a few minutes.
  • To test for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean, the bread is done.
  • Once the banana bread has cooled completely, you can store it at room temperature for up to 3 days, or wrap it tightly and freeze it for longer storage.

So next time you have some overripe bananas, don’t throw them away! Use this easy recipe to create a delicious and satisfying banana bread. Enjoy!
