Sienna Miller recently revealed in an interview with Empire Magazine how the late actor Chadwick Boseman “donated” a part of his salary so that pay parity could be maintained. Miller said, “Chadwick fought for an equal pay” for her with the makers of 21 Bridges, where the two shared the screen together.
Miller opened up about how Chadwick stood for her during the tough time and ensured she was paid equally. Hollywood, like any other industry, is gripped with gender-based pay disparity.
Boseman passed away on August 28 after a four-year-long battle with colon cancer. The Black Panther star was known for his charitable work, on-screen brilliance and a heart of pure gold. Voicing for pay parity was one of the many virtues he believed in and staunchly stood for.
