Nirmala’s Inspiring Journey: From Poverty to Entrepreneurial Success

Nirmala’s story is a true inspiration. She turned her struggles into strength and built a thriving business from scratch. Despite financial hardships, she never gave up. Today, she empowers 30 women through her venture, Marwari Manwar, a traditional Rajasthani breakfast brand.

Overcoming Challenges with Determination

In 2020, Nirmala faced an immense financial crisis after losing her husband. The lockdown made things even worse. There were times when she had to borrow even 10 rupees to meet daily expenses. But she didn’t lose hope. With support from her mother, brother, and sister-in-law, she decided to take control of her life. That’s when Marwari Manwar was born. Her first order was just Rs. 150, but she kept going.

Empowering Women Through Traditional Rajasthani Food

Today, Nirmala is not just self-reliant—she is helping other women become financially independent too. She employs 30 women who prepare authentic Rajasthani delicacies from their homes. All products are handmade, free from machines or artificial additives, ensuring top-notch quality and flavor.

The Specialty: Rajasthani Khichiya Papad

Nirmala’s inspiring journey: from poverty to entrepreneurial success

One of the most loved products from Marwari Manwar is the Rajasthani Makki Palak Khichiya Papad. This crunchy, flavorful delight enhances every meal. These papads are handmade and hygienically packed to preserve authenticity. They can be enjoyed as a snack or as a crispy side with lunch and dinner.

Ingredients & Preparation

Made with makki aata (corn flour), palak (spinach), cumin seeds, carom seeds, red chili powder, salt, and spices, these papads are naturally flavored and preservative-free. You can roast them over a gas flame, microwave for 45-50 seconds, or deep-fry them to triple their size.

A Taste of Tradition

These Khichiya papads bring the traditional flavors of Rajasthan to your plate. They pair perfectly with chutneys, pickles, or any Indian meal. Plus, they have a long shelf life and can be stored in an airtight container for year-round enjoyment.

Nirmala’s Mission: Making Women Self-Reliant

Beyond just business, Nirmala’s mission is to empower women and make them financially independent. Through Marwari Manwar, she is creating a platform for women to showcase their skills and earn a stable income.

Nirmala’s journey proves that with hard work, perseverance, and the right support system, anything is possible. She turned her challenges into opportunities and is now paving the way for other women to follow in her footsteps.
