In an heartfelt tribute to her ‘Euphoria’ co-star Angus Cloud, Zendaya took to social media on Tuesday, Aug 1, expressing her sorrow and fond memories. Cloud, fondly remembered for his role as Fezco in the popular teen drama ‘Euphoria’, tragically passed away on Monday, at the tender age of 25.

Posting an affectionate photo of Cloud, Zendaya shared her heartfelt memories and sentiments of her departed co-star.

“There aren’t enough words to truly convey the majestic presence that was Angus (Conor),” she expressed in her social media post.

“I am incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to know him, to consider him a brother in this life, to have witnessed his caring gaze and radiant smile, or listened to his contagious laughter (I find myself grinning now at the thought of it),” she further penned in the caption accompanying the photo.

She recalled a common phrase saying “I know people use the term ‘they could light up any room they entered’ frequently when reminiscing about loved ones, but honestly, he was unparalleled in that aspect.”

She further stated, “I would like to remember him in that light. He consistently brought an immense amount of radiance, affection, and joy into our lives.”

“I will hold on to every memory,” she summed up the caption to her tribute.

“My deepest condolences are with his mother and family at this challenging time and kindly remember that the process of mourning varies for everyone,” she concluded.

In addition to Zendaya, Sweeney shared several memorable photos and a touching video of her with Cloud on Instagram and penned, “Angus, your soul was open and inviting, and your heart, the kindest, and your laughter filled every room. It’s difficult to post this, and I’m struggling to express my feelings.”

She added, “This sorrow feels so real, I wish for one more embrace and another spontaneous trip to 711. All my love is with you.”

The show’s official handle too extended condolences. “We are deeply grieved by the passing of Angus Cloud. His remarkable talent made him an integral part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his friends and family during this sorrowful period.”

The reason behind Cloud’s untimely demise has yet to be disclosed. Two weeks prior to his passing, Cloud had posted a picture of his father on Instagram with the caption, “miss u breh.”

A source close to Cloud’s family informed ET that the actor had been grappling with intense suicidal thoughts following his return from Ireland, where he had laid his father to rest.
