Imagine how you’d feel if you could lose 22 kilograms and heal your acne in one month? You’ll be ecstatic and probably want to do a happy dance. Well, if this is what you’re looking for then keep reading – I’m going to share my story of losing weight, reversing acne, and healing my body.

How I healed my acne and lost 22 kg in one month

I had read all the books, taken all the supplements and been on a strict diet but it wasn’t until I found a way to block certain chemicals from my body that I began to see the results. To start, I cut out all processed and fried foods. For example, I used to drink a diet coke every day, but now I drink water. This left me with little energy at first, so I started doing cardio and weight training two-to-three times per week.

The most important thing I did on my weight loss journey was to heal my acne. When you have bad skin, it can make it difficult to feel confident and attractive. I started by looking for acne-specific products that were safe for my sensitive skin. Next, I got a facial with deep pore cleansing and extractions. It’s amazing how different your life can feel when you start taking care of your skin.

The weight loss results were so shocking that I even started to worry about my heart. And to make things even better, my skin also healed up with no need for any harsh chemicals!

I went on a diet and removed processed sugar and gluten from my daily routine. I also eliminated all dairy and processed foods, including alcohol. In addition, I did a lot of exercise during the day and drank matcha green tea every morning.

So, I decided to change my diet for good. It’s been about a month and my skin is clear, clothes are tighter and my self-image has changed drastically.

The changes I noticed in my skin were the most immediate. I had a marked improvement in my acne, and it was so much better than it had ever been. My skin felt smoother and clearer, even on my chest and face where it had never been. There was no more dryness or cracking. The improvements to my mental health were harder to notice because they are not as evident as the external changes in someone’s body.

Looking back at how far I have come in the past few months, there is no way that I would ever go back to how I was before.

What did I do to heal my acne?

First, I had to address my diet. To reduce inflammation, I cut out all grains and most added sugars from my meals. In addition to this, I focused on introducing more vegetables into my diet. Next, I started working out at least three times per week. Lastly, even though it is not technically a dietary or lifestyle change, I also started wearing makeup less frequently since it was causing breakouts.

Please note: I exclusively switched to a diet that is low in processed carbs, increased my water intake, and ate more quinoa, amaranth, and teff. My acne was gone in 3 weeks.

How long did it take for me to lose 22 kg?

I lost 22 kg in one month and have been free of acne ever since! I’m always curious about what the secret is to my success. I decided to try one thing out – I started drinking more water. Just a little at first, but then I slowly began to increase it. Within one week, my skin had improved drastically! It’s important that you have a steady intake of water too – it will help flush your system and get rid of any toxins that may be hanging out there.
