Hyderabad Metro Facilitates Life-Saving Heart Transplant Transfer in Record Time

Hyderabad Metro played a crucial role in the rapid transportation of a donor heart between two hospitals, enabling a life-saving transplant.

On January 17 at 21:30, the metro facilitated the 13-kilometer transfer of the organ from Kamineni Hospitals to Gleneagles Global Hospital in just 13 minutes. The operation was executed with meticulous planning and close coordination between Hyderabad Metro Rail and medical professionals.

KVB Reddy, Managing Director & CEO of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd., emphasized the metro’s commitment to community welfare. “We are dedicated to utilizing our infrastructure and expertise to support critical services and save lives.
