The shining stars of Met Gala 2021

The Met Gala, dubbed the “Oscar Night” of the fashion industry, takes place on the first Monday in May every year. However, after taking a year off due to the pandemic, the star-studded event returned in 2021 on the second Monday in September as an even more exclusive affair than before. This year’s theme of the Costume Institute fundraiser is ‘American independence’, leaving plenty of room for interpretation.

Wondering who was on the guestlist last night? Co-chairs this year included Billie Eilish, Timothée Chalamet, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman, but there were plenty of other Hollywood A-listers walking the famous Met steps including Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Simone Biles and more of your favourites.
