The “trouble” begins the very next day when the wedding is abruptly called off. While the families involved are grappling with the social and emotional fallout of the cancelled nuptials, Ramakant has only one thought: he wants his toaster back. What starts as a petty, obsessive mission to reclaim his “investment” quickly spirals out of control. As Ramakant navigates a complex web of social awkwardness and stubbornness, he inadvertently stumbles into a murder investigation. His single-minded fixation on the toaster lands him in a series of increasingly ridiculous mishaps involving local gangs, confused police officers, and a city-wide chase.
