The Amarnath Yatra 2026 is officially open for advance registration as of yesterday, April 15. This year’s pilgrimage is scheduled to be one of the longest in recent history, spanning 57 days.

How to Register

You can secure your permit through both digital and physical channels:

  • Online: via the official Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) website or the “Shri Amarnathji Yatra” mobile app.
  • Offline: Available at over 554 designated bank branches across India, including SBI, PNB, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, and Yes Bank.
  • Fees: Approximately ₹150 per person.

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC): Must be issued on or after April 8, 2026, by an authorized doctor.
  2. Age Limit: Only individuals between 13 and 70 years old are eligible.
  3. RFID Tracking: All pilgrims will be issued mandatory RFID cards for real-time tracking and safety.
  4. Insurance: Group accidental insurance coverage has been increased this year from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.
